Am I eligible to participate in evPulse for PG&E?

To participate, you must either be in a Tier 2 or 3 High Fire-Threat District as defined by this California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Fire Map, or have been impacted by a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event in the last 5 years.

PG&E will confirm your eligibility as part of your enrollment process.

How does Automatic Smart Charging work?

Once your EV is connected in the registration process and you've been approved for enrollment in Automatic Smart Charging, your charging will be optimally scheduled each time you plug in at home.

Our application identifies the lowest-cost periods you can charge in order to meet your upcoming driving needs while considering overall grid conditions. evPulse automatically schedules your EV to charge during those periods.

You'll receive notifications about your upcoming schedule via the channel you prefer (web and/or SMS) and can skip your proposed charge schedule if you need.
